I participated in a boot camp during the last two weeks, and it was time well spent! As the temperature in many parts of the world starts to drop, thanks to the approaching winter season, it’s expected that more tourists will start to come.
I haven’t been very active with the social media accounts for Treasure Buds & Records, so I figured the boot camp was arriving just in time for me to advertise the business to people travelling the area.
If you follow me on social media, you know that I don’t post very often. I gave up on social media during COVID and only returned once I got a writing gig that paid me based on how many readers my articles got. For so long, I didn’t know the point of posting regularly, but now that there’s an incentive, I’ve started to get active again.
The boot camp provided tools to help me be efficient when it comes to social media. Aside from using AI to generate posts, I learned how to create posts in bulk in Canva. So, if you see posts from @treasurebudsrecords in the next few weeks, you’ll know what I was using. 😉
There was a time when I thought I was signing up for every webinar under the sun because I thought I needed every expert to tell me how to fix my life or my business. I now realize that it’s not about replicating everything others do in their business and hoping for success, but using your intuition, knowledge, and common sense to help you reduce the mental clutter.
While I’m beyond signing up for webinars and courses that claim to show you how to make $X in X days or months, I remain open to learning about new tools that can help me make things easier.
As I was approaching 50, I concluded that my main life goal was to simplify my life. I don’t need a glamorous life; I need a simple one, so I keep myself open to things that will help me reach that goal. I’m excited that I found something this week that can help me simplify things.
I promise not to get carried away with the social media posts now that I know how to do it efficiently, I swear! 😉
