April was a crazy month. It’s been packing, storing, and getting our condo rental ready. Today is the first day in over a month that I wasn’t occupied doing something the entire day. Mind you, I still have things to do before tomorrow morning, but I’m giving myself a brief break to prepare for the next chapter mentally.
Speaking with friends last week, I admitted that I haven’t fully digested what’s happening in the next month because things have been non-stop. Sometimes I think that things should flow this way because if I have too much time, I start overthinking things and possibly talk myself out of doing things.
The next three weeks will be spent getting some work done and catching up with friends before I leave for at least five months. It feels like a goodbye tour of sorts… 😉 I’m looking forward to catching up and enjoying some great food and fantastic conversations.
My goal is to have a balanced month in May. I hope to manifest a productive and rested month, so I can start June ready for our move. It may seem like wishful thinking to hope for a smooth month when I’m moving and traveling, but I choose to be optimistic. This is why I’m scheduling ample rest throughout the month to keep my stress minimal. 😊
I appreciate the support we’re getting from friends and family as we make this massive move. I told a friend that our relocation gives our friends and family an excuse to travel. 😉
Whether or not they come to visit, we’ll be coming back to Canada for visits too. It will always be my home, even if I’m spending time living somewhere else. ❤️
