I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Susan Jeffers. I came to know about Susan and her work through a CD series I had purchased from Hay House. The CD had recordings of presentations by Louise Hay, Christiane Northrop, Carolyn Myss and Susan Jeffers. After listening to her presentation on that CD, I decided I needed to read one of her books and chose Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway since I was certain it was advice I needed to take to heart to pursue my dreams.
If you haven’t read it, you should! She presents her wisdom in an easy to understand way which makes it a lot easier to believe that you can actually put the concepts into practice in your own life. As I write this, I feel like it’s time for me to get that book out of storage and give it another read. I’m not one to re-read books very often, but I’ve realized that there are often things you miss the first time around that you catch on the next go-around and I know that although I’ve made a lot of inroads on the control fear has in my life, I could certainly do with some additional tools!
Even as I sit here typing, I am amazed just thinking about the legacy that Susan Jeffers has left for the rest of us. Her books will continue to be read by millions of people, even after her passing, sharing her wisdom and giving us the encouragement to move beyond our fears and live the lives we’ve always imagined for ourselves. An important lesson and a wonderful gift! ♥
